for SCERT Goa, in partnership with Pratham Books StoryWeaver
My role: Poster series, digital and mobile banners, standee design — visual direction and execution across the campaign.
Goa Is Reading is a state-wide initiative bringing joyful, story-based reading to schools across Goa, built around a repository of 144 openly-licensed picture books per language, organised into grade-wise reading modules. Aligned with NEP 2020 and the National Reading Mission, the campaign's goal was simple but ambitious: get every child in the state reading, and reading with joy.
I led the visual identity for the campaign's public-facing rollout, designing a poster series, web and mobile banners, and a standee to carry the campaign's energy from classrooms to community spaces. The brief needed a language that felt playful and inviting to children, while staying clear and credible for the teachers, schools, and administrators driving the program forward. I built the visuals around warm, high-contrast colour and simple, character-led illustration made by Nirzara Virulkar, designed to read instantly whether glimpsed on a phone screen or a school noticeboard. Every format had to hold together as one consistent world, scaling from a full-size standee down to a mobile banner without losing its warmth or clarity.
